We are just getting started but here are some ways we hope to help make a difference in our community.

st. helena redwoods - a future community forest

A wonderful reforestation opportunity in partnership with the City of St. Helena and other contributing organizations. This redwood forest will be a treasured community space for many generations to come. Creating a forest in this area has high future benefits for aesthetics, ecosystems, walking paths, carbon sequestration, oxygen generation and timber harvests.

FIGHTING FOR CLIMATE ACTION

The environmental climate crisis and challenges we face threaten the earth’s ability to sustain plant, animal and human life as we know it.  We are working to support all efforts on an individual level, legislative level and global scale to help mitigate these challenges.

KEEPING OUR RIVERS AND STREAMS CLEAN

Working locally and beyond to keep our waterways free of trash and pollutants is a challenge both globally and in our local region. We volunteer our time to support clean up efforts at our parks and in our rivers.

PROTECTING NATURAL RESOURCES AND HABITATS

The Napa Valley is a beautiful natural landscape that is home to countless natural resources and habitats. These resources and habitats need protection from environmental degradation. We hope to achieve stronger protections for the health and wellbeing of our community, watersheds, woodlands and habitats.

WEEKEND WEEDERS - helping support parks and open spaces as PESTICIDE FREE zones

One of the best ways to protect our water systems, soils and the health of the community is from keeping pollutants out of them in the first place. To that end we are launching a  Weekend Weeders Program in St. Helena to support and maintain our local parks that have abandoned the use of glyphosate, a toxic herbicide.
